Joe @ SHE Software - WalkMe / Pendo alternatives?

I'm looking for tool recommendations track customer journey interactions and gather some user analytics. Which tools have you used that were easy to implement and provided valuable insights?

I'm implementing a Gainsight POC right now at Lone Wolf. I'll let you know how it goes.

I've also heard of Mix Panel, and it's got a freemium option up to 1000 monthly active users, so I'm looking at that for Paddle. They describe the implementation as being more labor intensive than Pendo, which is a little off putting. But I can report back on that one as well.

Thanks Katy! The amount of effort to implement WalkMe is much greater than expected - our value experience is not meeting the perceived value established during the sales process. They had a very limited trial. We now believe we know why it was so limited. I am having the team look at AppCues, Mix Panel and a couple of other tools - all of which offer free trials! : )

@joe I can recommend the free version of Mixpanel - we used it at my previous company. While it takes a little dev effort to set up you can then do almost everything with the data. An alternative to Mixpanel is Amplitude - I think they offer almost similar functionality. At my current company we are currently implementing Pendo to replace Matomo - I don't have any insights into Pendo yet but would not recommend Matomo)
